Megalithic Sites are an ancient mystery.  The precision and mathematics involved point to a very advanced civilization and a technology we have not yet discovered.  Some of the sites are astronomically aligned. Some of the stones involved are hundreds of tonnes yet some are perfectly fitted into place.  Some of these megalithic sites like the giant heads found on easter island defy all logic and reason.  Easter island is a remote island in the Pacific.  How did these stones heads get there and by whom considering that these stones way in excess of 70tones.  The stones of Stonehenge for instance where taken from a mountain over 240miles away.  The builders would have had to move these stones over rough terrain, and rivers.  It is theorized that some ancient sites had an ancient advanced technology or wisdom to move these gigantic stones. 

Many ancient megalithic sites cannot be replicated today.  Cranes are not build to withstand the weight of some of these stones which can way over 100000 tonnes like a massive chiseled piece of stone in Balbeek.   There is no evidence that many of these stones were moved by slaves which would number in the thousands.  Many of these stones are lifted and precisely put in place as in the pyramids of Giza.  We should appreciate these site for the scientific and technological sophistication as well are their artistry.
