What are the Origins of Man? Did we evolve from ape's in a linear fashion according to the evolutionary model of Darwinism and slowly developed our culture and cognitive functions over time. Or perhaps the Biblical story of the Genesis better explains our beginnings where God created all of the cosmos, earth and man in less than seven days. Or perhaps life was seeded on this planet by extra-terrestrials. Zacharia Sitchin an expert in ancient language contents that this was the case. Through Sitchin's research on Ancient text he believes an ancient extra-terrestrial race of human like beings called the Annunaki visited Earth hundreds of thousands of years ago seeding the planet and genetically engineering man from the preexisting hominoids on this planet using the blood of the god's. . Ironically enough Biblical stories follow close paralles with these sumerian texts. Many experts believe that the biblical stories are simplified and edited versions of older ancient sumerian texts. Ancient Sumeria was the oldest civilization which started 6000 years ago. According to Sitchin however it was the first post-deluge civilizition. The ancient sumerians had there own story's ago a global flood in which one man built an ark that saved him and his family and carried the seed of life. Traditions of a Global flood is found in over 300 different cultures around the world . Many scientist also make an argument that at one time much of the earth was flooded at one point. Can human civilization be older than 6000 years? Was there civilization that existed on this planet before a global flood. Was mankind seeded her by celestial beings? These are all interesting questions and there may be more validity to this than first thought.
