Ancient Sumeria is considered the civilization of man in the middle eastern region of Mesopotamia.  Examining its society we discover that perhaps this civilization was more advanced than previously thought.  Ancient surgeries, accounting, governance, recipes, was found in this civilization.  This civilization also had incredible knowledge of the cosmos.  According to Zacharia Sitchin, this civilation had a well developed language that had words for eight different types of oils.  According to Sitchin this society may have also had extra-terrestrial influence as well. 

This ancient civilization is rich in culture and knowledge.  It is considered the cradle of life where the rest of the civilizations on earth evolved from.  However, according to Sitchin it is only the first civilization to begin since a global flood wiped out an existing world wide civilization that had wisdom, knowledge, and technology that could prossibly surpass ours.
